I hear wedding bells for CSS' Lovefoxxx and Klaxons' Simon Taylor. CSS singer Lovefoxxx has confirmed the couple is getting married. Lovefoxxx revealed to Xfm that she and Taylor will be tying the knot this winter in her native Brazil. "It'll happen next summer... No, this summer. No... This winter, because it's your [British] winter but our summer in Brazil," the singer explained. "It will happen on the top of your winter."

The Cribs' bassist Gary Jarman was hospitalized following the bands performance at Sheffield University on Saturday (October 6) after complaining of pains in his arms. After Stuart Pearson, from support band Pavilion, suggested it might be blood poisoning Jarman was taken to a nearby hospital.

Arctic Monkeys have announced they have chosen 'Teddy Picker' as their next single. The track, which is taken from the bands last album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', is set for release December 3 (UK).

Rumors had been swirling that the Sheffield boys would choose 'Old Yellow Brick' or '505' as their next single.

Reports had been circulating yesterday (October 2) that Ian MacKaye, frontman of Minor Threat and Fugazi had died. Those reports are FALSE, and MacKaye is alive and well. The rumor of his death reportedly first started appearing on Myspace and later on two postings on Wikipedia, which have since been removed and disabled to prevent editing. So to re-iterate, the 45 year-old frontman and founder of Dischord Records is "fine and well."

Well it seems Pete has been staying clean. The Babyshambles frontman has reportedly tested negative for drugs in the latest drug report. Speaking to BBC News, Sean Curran, Doherty's lawyer, stated that Doherty had taken a drug test as part of his rehab programme and tested negative. "Pete's doing very, very well," Curran said. "The court knows he's tested negative for drugs throughout his residential programme - that's six weeks now."

Once again Pete Doherty has escaped sentencing. The notorious rockers court appearance, which was set to take place today (October 2), was postponed until October 26.

The Babyshambles frontman has teamed up with producer Jake Fior to release his solo project. Among the songs slated to appear on the solo album will be 'Darksome Sea' and 'Cuckoo 1440', the latter of which was originally demoed by Babyshambles.

It was announced on Indie 103.1 that the Sex Pistols will play a one-off gig in Los Angeles. The performance, which is set for October 25 at the Roxy, will take place prior to their upcoming reunion shows at London's Brixton Academy.

The one-off gig will feature original members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock.
