Department of Eagles have announced a handful of US tour dates set for early next year.

The short five-date jaunt will kick off with a January 15th appearance at the Tomorrow Never Knows Festival in Chicago, IL.

The band will wrap up the tour at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on January 19.

The Pretenders have unveiled dates for their first US tour in over 6 years.

The extensive jaunt is set to kick off January 29 in Albany, NY.

The tour, in support of their recently-released ninth album ‘Break Up The Concrete‘, will run through several major cities including New York, Chicago, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The band will wrap up the jaunt on March 14 in Reno, NV.

Bonnaroo has announced the dates for next year’s festival.

The annual festival is set for June 11-14 of next year.

The event will once again take place in Manchester, TN.

Special holiday pre-sale tickets for Bonnaroo 2009 will go on sale this Thursday (December 4) and will be made available through December 31.

Fans will have the chance to purchase tickets for the festival for five payments of $50.00 + fees via the festival’s payment plan.


The Raconteurs have released a new music video for ‘Old Enough‘.

The video is for the bluegrass inspired version of the track off their latest album ‘Consolers Of The Lonely‘.

The music video features country vocalist Ashley Monroe and Nashville bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs.

Tracks by Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Queen, and The Police have all been added to the Grammy Hall Of Fame.

Hendrix’s rendition of ‘The Star Spangled Banner‘, Stevie Wonder’s ‘For Once in My Life‘, Queen’s ‘We are the Champions‘ and ‘We Will Rock You‘ and The Police’s 1983 album ‘Synchronicity‘ have all been added to the list which now totals 826 titles.

Since its inception in 1973, the Grammy Hall Of Fame has enlisted the help of its members committee of historians and experts to choose memorable songs and albums that have become part of history.

The newly selected songs may become part of the forthcoming Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

The four-floor exhibition centre is set to open December 6.

The band is back in North American for the final leg of the 14-month jaunt.
