A few months ago the Arctic Monkeys released a teaser video for their Don Valley Bowl performance which took place in Sheffield earlier this year.

At the time it appeared to be a forthcoming live DVD but it looks like its just a 10 minute video directed by Focus Creeps.

The video features behind-the-scenes footage along with live performance footage.

Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner stopped by Seattle’s KEXP radio recently to play a few songs.

The frontman played three acoustic versions of songs off the band’s new album, ‘Suck It and See‘.

Turner played “Reckless Serenade“, “Suck It And See“, and “Love Is A Laserquest“.

Aside from the acoustic performance Turner also chatted about a few things including the future of the Last Shadow Puppets, his side project band with Miles Kane.

Arctic Monkeys closed out the opening night of this past weekend’s V Festival with a performance of “505“.

Alex Turner and co. were joined on stage by Miles Kane for the song.

Announcing Kane, Turner told the audience, “We’d like to bring a blue mod onstage to help us with this last one. Here he is, the Wirral riddler, Mr Miles Kane.”

The band’s set consisted of songs spanning all four albums, including their recent release, ‘Suck It And See‘.

The band brought things to a close by bringing Alex Turner collaborator Miles Kane up on stage for a performance of “505“.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters are in the midst of a three night residency at New York’s Beacon Theatre.

The residency kicked off yesterday yesterday and continued today where Costello was joined onstage by a special guest.

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner joined the band onstage for a performance of Costello’s “Lipstick Vogue”.

Turner wasn’t the only famous musician at the show, The Strokes Nikolai Fraiture was also at the gig.

Fraiture even tweeted out a picture of Turner up onstage playing with Costello (which you can see above).

The Arctic Monkeys were in Toronto on Saturday to play a gig at the Kool Haus.

While in the city, frontman Alex Turner stopped by Toronto radio station 102.1 The Edge to play two tracks off the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Suck It And See‘.

Turner played an acoustic version of title track “Suck It And See” and “Love Is A Laserquest” for an intimate audience.

Miles Kane and Alex Turner‘s side project band The Last Shadow Puppets are set to return in the near future.

Speaking to NME, Kane revealed that he hopes he andTurner will get together once again to release a newLast Shadow Puppets album.

Kane said that he hopes to record a new album with the Arctic Monkeys‘ frontman after he releases his debut solo album due out next spring.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely. After I’ve done this stuff, I guess. I’ve got a few things up my sleeve,” said Kane when asked whether the Last Shadow Puppets would resurrect.
