The Laneway Festival is set for stops at several major cities across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore when it kicks off on January 28.

The festival is set to run from January 28-February 12 and will see performances from M83, Girls, Cults, Toro Y Moi, the Horrors, and many more.

Jenny Lewis has been forced to cancel her upcoming West Coast tour.

The singer was set to kick off the tour on October 15 but has been forced to cancel due to “a family emergency”.

Lewis has also had to withdraw from the Bridge School Benefit concerts she was due to take part in on October 22 and 23.

Patrick Wolf has announced three U.S. dates set for next month.

Wolf will play dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York starting September 13.

The British musician will likely play material from his forthcoming album ‘Lupercalia‘ on the U.S. dates.

‘Lupercalia‘ is set for release in early 2012.

The Horrors are set to embark on a North American tour latest this year.

Playing in support of their forthcoming album, ‘Skying‘, the band are set to kick off the jaunt on September 7 in Vancouver.

Among the dates announced are shows in Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, and Montreal.

The band are set to wrap things up on October 4 with a performance at Webster Hall in New York.

‘Skying‘ is set for release August 9th via XL Recordings.

The National and Yo La Tengo are set to hit the road together for a short, but what I am sure will be, memorable tour.

Both bands are set to play 3 co-headlining dates in September with the first kicking off in Columbia, MD on September 6, followed by shows in Philadelphia and Boston.

Supporting the bands on all three dates will be Wye Oak.

Two Door Cinema Club kicked off a massive world tour yesterday in Bristol, UK.

Coachella festival organizers have announced that next year’s event will be held over two weekends.

The decision to extend the festival was made after this years event sold out within days.

The move was also made as an effort to accommodate the thousands of fans that want to attend the 3 day bash every year.

Organizers will attempt to produce two identical festival weekends, which means the line up will be similar on both weekends.

Coachella 2012 will take place April 13-15, 2012 and April 20-22, 2012.

Passes go on sale beginning this Friday, June 3rd, 2011, at 10am PST until the following Friday June 10th, 2011, at 10pm PST

Friendly Fires kicked off their North American last night with a performance at New York’s Webster Hall.

The band are set to continue on their extensive jaunt tonight with a show at Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club and will continue to play dates throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Playing in support of their latest album ‘Pala‘, the band are set to wrap things up on October 27th in Boston, MA.
