<p><strong>The Laneway Festival</strong> is set for stops at several major cities across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore when it kicks off on January 28.</p>
<p>The festival is set to run from January 28-February 12 and will see performances from <strong>M83</strong>, <strong>Girls</strong>, <strong>Cults</strong>, <strong>Toro Y Moi</strong>, <strong>the Horrors</strong>, and many more.</p>

<p><strong>Jenny Lewis</strong> has been forced to cancel her upcoming West Coast tour. </p>
<p>The singer was set to kick off the tour on October 15 but has been forced to cancel due to &#8220;a family emergency&#8221;.</p>
<p>Lewis has also had to withdraw from the <strong>Bridge School Benefit</strong> concerts she was due to take part in on October 22 and 23. </p>

<p>Wolf will play dates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York starting September 13. </p>
<p>The British musician will likely play material from his forthcoming album &#8216;<strong>Lupercalia</strong>&#8216; on the U.S. dates. </p>
<p>&#8216;<strong>Lupercalia</strong>&#8216; is set for release in early 2012. </p>

<p><strong>The Horrors</strong> are set to embark on a North American tour latest this year.</p>
<p>Playing in support of their forthcoming album, &#8216;<strong>Skying</strong>&#8216;, the band are set to kick off the jaunt on September 7 in Vancouver. </p>
<p>Among the dates announced are shows in Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, and Montreal.</p>
<p>The band are set to wrap things up on October 4 with a performance at Webster Hall in New York. </p>
<p>&#8216;<strong>Skying</strong>&#8216; is set for release August 9th via XL Recordings. </p>

<p><strong>The National</strong> and <strong>Yo La Tengo</strong> are set to hit the road together for a short, but what I am sure will be, memorable tour. </p>
<p>Both bands are set to play 3 co-headlining dates in September with the first kicking off in Columbia, MD on September 6, followed by shows in Philadelphia and Boston. </p>
<p>Supporting the bands on all three dates will be <strong>Wye Oak</strong>.</p>
<p>Aside from the joint tour, each band will also head out on their own with <strong>Yo La Tengo</strong> currently in the midst of their own headlining tour. </p>

<p>Coachella festival organizers have announced that next year&#8217;s event will be held over two weekends.</p>
<p>The decision to extend the festival was made after this years event sold out within days.</p>
<p>The move was also made as an effort to accommodate the thousands of fans that want to attend the 3 day bash every year.</p>
<p>Organizers will attempt to produce two identical festival weekends, which means the line up will be similar on both weekends.</p>
<p>Coachella 2012 will take place April 13-15, 2012 and April 20-22, 2012.</p>
<p>Passes go on sale beginning this Friday, June 3rd, 2011, at 10am PST until the following Friday June 10th, 2011, at 10pm PST</p>

<p><strong>Friendly Fires </strong>kicked off their North American last night with a performance at New York&#8217;s Webster Hall. </p>
<p>The band are set to continue on their extensive jaunt tonight with a show at Washington, DC&#8217;s 9:30 Club  and will continue to play dates throughout the U.S. and Canada.</p>
<p>Playing in support of their latest album &#8216;<strong>Pala</strong>&#8216;, the band are set to wrap things up on October 27th in Boston, MA.</p>

<p>The band, who are touring in support of their latest album &#8216;<strong>Mine Is Yours</strong>&#8216;, will kick off the jaunt on June 3rd in Savannah, GA.</p>
<p>Among the dates announced are shows in Oceanside, Manchester, Boston, and Austin.</p>
<p>The band are also set to appear at this year&#8217;s Sasquatch Festival on May 29th in Quincy, WA.</p>

<p>The forthcoming tour is in support of the band&#8217;s latest album, &#8216;<strong>Dancer Equired</strong>&#8216;.</p>
<p>Among the dates announced are shows in Brooklyn, Austin, Los Angeles, and Seattle.</p>
<p>The band are also set to play a free show at Brooklyn&#8217;s Prospect Park on July 23rd as part of <strong>Celebrate Brooklyn</strong> Summer concert.</p>
