Danger Mouse and The Shins‘ James Mercer have announced a few details about their forthcoming sideproject album for their sideproject band Broken Bells.

The self-titled 10-track album is set for release on March 8 with the album’s first single, ‘The High Road‘ set for release on Monday (December 21).

Birgisson is set to release his first solo, entitled ‘Go‘, on March 22, 2010 under the name Jonsi.

The unnamed band have announced a two-night performance at the Orpheum in Los Angeles set for October 4 and 5.

Actors Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields are prepping for the release of their debut self-titled album, Dead Man’s Bones.

The album, which has been describe as “Disney haunted mansion meets doo wop and 60s girl groups”, is set for release October 6 via Anti-Records.

Gosling and Shields recruited the Los Angeles based, Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir to record the album with.

The duo have released the tracklisting and album cover art, which features the children’s choir, for the forthcoming album.

Julian Plenti, aka Interpol frontman Paul Banks, has premiered the first music video off his forthcoming debut solo album, “Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper“.

The singer has released the video for ‘Games For Days‘, which was directed by Javier Aguilar.

The music video features Metric’s Emily Haines.

“Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper” is due out August 4 via Matador.

The album was self-recorded in Malibu, CA and Omaha, NE, and was produced by Mogis.

As we previously reported the band have released the first track off the album for free online.

U2 are currently previewing the first single off their forthcoming album, ‘No Line On The Horizon‘.

The single, ‘Get On Your Boots‘, is currently being streamed on the bands website.
