The Beatles’ Ed Sullivan Performances Get Remastered, Set For DVD Release

Beatles Universal Music Enterprises is set to release a digitally remastered DVD featuring the Beatles 4 performances on the Ed Sullivan Show.

The forthcoming DVD is set to include previously unreleased material including all the performances from each of those four shows as well as the original commercials.

The two-DVD set will also feature material from other “Sullivan” shows, including a short interview with The Beatles which has not been seen since its original television airing in 1964.

‘The 4 Complete Ed Sullivan Shows Starring The Beatles‘ is set for release September 7.

U2360° At The Rose Bowl Set For Release

U2 are set to release their highly anticipated live DVD, U2360° At The Rose Bowl, later this week.

The live DVD was filmed last year at the band’s Rose Bowl performance in front of over 97,000 fans and was also live streamed on YouTube.

The DVD and Blu-ray is set for release on June 3rd.

U2360° At The Rose Bowl is now available for pre-order on iTunes or Amazon.

U2 Set To Release Rose Bowl Performance DVD

U2 are set to release a DVD featuring their 2009 performance at the Rosebowl Stadium.

The stadium performance, which was streamed live on YouTube, is set for DVD and Blu-ray later this year.

‘U2360Â° At The Rose Bowl‘ is due out June 7 and will feature 23 live tracks.

A deluxe edition of the DVD featuring a new documentary called ‘Squaring the Circle: Creating U2360Â°‘ is also set for release.

John Lennon Biopic Set For DVD Release

The John Lennon biopic, Nowhere Boy, is set for DVD release later this year.

The film, which chronicles Lennon’s early childhood and teenage life, was directed by Sam Taylor-Wood and is set for release May 10.

The film is set to be released on both DVD and Blu-ray and will include several exclusive featurettes as bonus material.

White Stripes Documentary Set For SXSW Premier

White Stripes are set to debut their documentary, ‘Under Great White Northern Lights‘, to U.S. audiences during SXSW.

The film, which chronicles the band’s 2007 Canadian tour, will premiere at the week long festival taking place March 12-20 in Austin, Texas.

As we previously reported the band will release the documentary as a box set on March 16.

The limited edition box set is set to include the DVD of the film along with a second DVD of the White Stripes 10th anniversary show.

CSS Live DVD Set For Release

CSS and Tilly And The Wall are set to release a live DVD early next year.

Entitled ‘CSS & Tilly And The Wall Appearing Live Tonight!‘ the film documents both bands during their joint tour which took place late last year.

The film, which was made by Rob Walters, features live performances as well as behind-the-scenes footage.

The DVD is set for release January 12.

Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ Release Date Announced

Michael Jackson’s concert film documentary ‘This Is It‘ is set for release early next year.

The film, which chronicles the three months of rehearsals for what was to be the singer’s comeback tour, will be released on Jan. 26, 2010 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray will feature over 90-minutes of bonus material, including two documentaries.

The Blu-ray version of the film will include two music videos, “Smooth Criminal” and “Thriller“.

Florence and the Machine Get Box Set Reissue

Florence and the Machine has announced details of a forthcoming debut album box set reissue.

The 4-disc set is set to hit record store shelves November 30.

The reissue of the band’s debut album ‘Lungs‘ will include a ‘Live at Abbey Road‘ disc, remixes, rarities, covers, acoustic sets, and a DVD featuring promo videos, plus a few more other goodies.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Announce Live CD/DVD

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have announced plans to release a live CD/DVD package later this month.

‘Live‘ is set for release on November 16 (UK) and will include two DVD and a 14 live-track CD.

The DVD features footage from the band’s 2007 shows in Berlin, Dublin and Glasgow as well as behind-the-scenes tour footage.
