Muse are reportedly set to play a show at this year’s forthcoming South by Southwest Music Festival, reports Billboard.

The band will reportedly play a show at Stubb’s  Bar-B-Q on Saturday, March 20.

According to Billboard the band will be joined by Metric who are also reportedly on the bill to play that night.

The SXSW festival is set to take place March 17-21 at several venues throughout Austin, TX.

After more than two years on hiatus from playing proper concerts (other than Obama fund-raising gigs), the Arcade Fire have announced their first show.

The band are set to headline this year’s Oxegen Festival in Ireland set to take place July 8-11.

The headlining slot further legitimizes rumors that the band will release a new album in May or June of this year.

The band join previously announced acts including Muse and Jay-Z.

Arctic Monkeys have announced the addition of a Las Vegas show to their forthcoming North American tour.

The band will play Sin City on April 16 at the House of Blues.

Tickets for the Vegas show go on sale Saturday, February 20.

Alex Turner and co. are set to kick off their U.S. tour on April 1st in Miami.

Supporting the band on all dates will be Sleepy Sun.

Dinosaur Jr. are set to play a free show in Los Angeles this Tuesday (2/23).

The band will play the free gig, which is sponsored by T-Mobile and MOG, at the Troubadour in L.A..

Fans planning to attend can RSVP to dinojr@mog.com but admission is still on a first come first serve basis so go early.

Although not yet officially confirmed, The Who are reportedly set to perform at Super Bowl XLIV later next year.

SI.com reports that the band will perform the Super Bowl halftime show which is set to take place February 7 in Miami, Florida.

If the forthcoming performance is true, it would be the band’s first show in North American since 2008.

Dan Deacon has been forced to cancel his U.S. tour after being hospitalized.

The musician who suffers from acute sciatica, or severe back problems, was hospitalized after his acute sciatica got worse.

Deacon, who was touring in support of his latest album ‘Bromst‘, canceled his November 13, 14, and 15th shows and will also cancel tonight’s show (November 16) in Purchase, NY as well as Wednesdays (November 18) show in Baltimore, MD.

Deacon wrote about the hospitalization and tour cancellation on his Facebook page, telling fans, “On Wednesday evening the pain had come to a peak. It was impossible to bear and it was frightening, since I had no idea why this was happening.”

Writing about the cancellation the musician promised fans he would reschedule his cancelled dates.

The Dead Weather are set to play a one-off show in New York later this month.

Jack White and co. have announced plans to play Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 17.

Tickets for the New York date go on sale Friday (November 13) to the general public but members of Third Man Records music subscription service, The Vault, can purchase tickets starting today at 12pm (EST).

The band will perform at the record store at 6pm tonight and will hold a signing afterwards.

The Arctic Monkeys are set to play a free show at Portland, Oregon’s Wonder Ballroom later this summer.

The free gig will be part of MusicfestNW, a week-long event taking place in the city that will see several bands play free shows from September 16-20.

The band will play the venue on Friday September 18.

Fans will need either a free ticket or a MFNW Writsband to enter the show.

Free tickets will only be available on the day of the show (September 18) at 10am at two locations in the city, which you can see below.

Arctic Monkeys have added an additional U.S. show to their forthcoming short North American tour.

The band previously announced a handful of U.S. and Canadian dates that coincide with the band’s scheduled festival appearances.

The group are now set to play a show at The Rave in Milwaukee on Saturday, September 26.

The boys are set to kick off the short jaunt with a performance at All Points West festival in New Jersey on August 1.

The shows are in support of their forthcoming album, ‘Humbug’, due out August 25.

Tickets for the Milwaukee show go onsale Friday July 3 at 10am CST.
