Arcade Fire The SuburbsArcade Fire recently played a private show at the Notman House in Montreal where they previewed material from their forthcoming album, ‘The Suburbs‘.

The band reportedly played a 12-track set which featured 8 new songs.

The performance was said to be a warm-up gig for their forthcoming tour.

Among the tracks the band played were “The Suburbs” and “Month of May“.

Hot Hot HeatWith the release of their latest album only a couple weeks away, Hot Hot Heat have announced a Brooklyn and L.A. residency.

The band are set to play four nights at Brooklyn’s The Public Assembly with the first night kicking off May 5th followed by a May 12, 19, and May 26th performance.

The band are also set to play a five-night residency at The Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles beginning June 2.

Hot Hot Heat will play the L.A. venue every Wednesday in June wrapping up with a June 30 performance.

eelsEels have announced details of a forthcoming world tour.

The band are set to embark on the tour on August 3 at the California Galaxy Theater.

The band will play shows in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.

The tour is in support of the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Tomorrow Morning‘, due out August 23.

Hold SteadySet to embark on a North American/European tour later this week the Hold Steady have announced a handful of additional tour dates.

The band are set to kick off the jaunt, in support of their latest album, ‘Heaven Is Whenever‘, on May 22 in Orlando, FL.

Among the dates announced are shows in Berlin, Seattle, and New York.

The band are also set for a few festival appearances including stops at the Sasquatch Festival, Southside Festival, and Azkena Rock Festival.

Vampire WeekendVampire Weekend, Beach House, and Dum Dum Girls are gearing up for a joint North American tour set for later this year.

The tour is set to kick off on August 28 in Vancouver and will include stops in Chicago, Toronto, and Los Angeles.

The tour will also include three consecutive nights at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

Kele OkerekeBloc Party’s Kele Okereke has announced dates for a solo tour in support of his forthcoming debut solo album.

The frontman is set to release his debut solo album, ‘The Boxer‘, on June 21 in the UK and the following day (June 22) in the US.

Kele is set to embark on a world tour  in support of the new album later this month.

The tour is set to kick off on May 15 in Limerick, Ireland and will run though August 31.

Among the dates announced are shoos in London, Chicago, Toronto, and New York.

Muse are reportedly set to play a show at this year’s forthcoming South by Southwest Music Festival, reports Billboard.

The band will reportedly play a show at Stubb’s  Bar-B-Q on Saturday, March 20.

According to Billboard the band will be joined by Metric who are also reportedly on the bill to play that night.

The SXSW festival is set to take place March 17-21 at several venues throughout Austin, TX.

The band are set to headline this year’s Oxegen Festival in Ireland set to take place July 8-11.

The headlining slot further legitimizes rumors that the band will release a new album in May or June of this year.

The band join previously announced acts including Muse and Jay-Z.

Arctic Monkeys have announced the addition of a Las Vegas show to their forthcoming North American tour.

The band will play Sin City on April 16 at the House of Blues.

Tickets for the Vegas show go on sale Saturday, February 20.

Alex Turner and co. are set to kick off their U.S. tour on April 1st in Miami.

Supporting the band on all dates will be Sleepy Sun.
