Domino Records has released a new iPhone app allowing fans to stream the labels catalogue.

The app, titled “Domino Records“, gives users access to stream music from the labels entire catalog, read up on artists on the label (Animal Collective, Arctic Monkeys), watch music videos, and more.

Willie Nelson has covered Coldplay‘s hit track “The Scientist” for a new short film entitled, “Back to the Start.”

The animated film was created by Johnny Kelly and commissioned by Chipotle, the fast casual dining chain.

Nelson‘s cover is now available on iTunes for $0.99 with proceeds going to benefit The Chipotle Cultivate Foundation.

Last week James Blake posted a message on Twitter hinting at a collaboration with Bon Iver.

Blakes message read: “24th August 2011 – James Blake & Bon Iver ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir’”.

Now the duo have released the fruits of that collaboration, a track they have dubbed “Enough Thunder.”

The track, which features Justin Vernon on vocals and James Blake on production, premiered on BBC Radio 1 and will be available on iTunes on August 29.

A press release announcing the collaboration read, “Over the past year James has cited Justin as a key influence and it was via a chance meeting at this years SXSW festival in Austin, Texas that the seed was sown for a future collaboration.”

The Polyphonic Spree have released their comeback single in an unusual way.

The band’s new single “Bullseye” has been released as an interactive iPad app.

Created with the help of Moonbot Studios, the interactive music video app allows fans to play through “an expansive and changing world” as a small creature named You-Me. With You-Me users can bring the interactive world to life “in a video where you see, hear, and touch the world around you.”

The app is available now on iTunes for only $1.99 [direct link].

“Bullseye” is the first single off the band’s forthcoming as-yet-untitled album due out later this year.

Apple is set to unveil its new iCould service at its Worldwide Developers Conference later today.

The service is rumored to bring streaming to its iOS devices, allowing users to stream their entire iTunes library on their iPhone.

In the past few weeks Apple has reportedly signed deals with all four Major labels giving them a an advantage over their 2 major competitors Google and Amazon.

Amazon and Google have both released similar services in the past few weeks but unlike Apple, neither of them signed licensing deals with the major labels.

Orange has licensed the rights to release an official Glastonbury Festivalapp.

The app, which became available today for free for both iPhone and Android phones, features the festival lineup, event map, news and more.

The app also allows users to share their own customized festival schedule with Facebook friends.

Cold War Kids have launched their very own iPad app.

The app, dubbed “Applum” (App + Album), allows fans who have the band’s latest album, ‘Mine Is Yours‘, on their iPod library to pull the album into the app and gives them access to unique album artwork, lyrics and liner note.

The app also features exclusive videos as well as a few more surprises. Fans who don’t own the album can still download the app, which is free, and can purchase the album directly on the app or view a few of the limited features.

eMusic members are about to get a whole ton of new music to download thanks to a recent deal the music service signed with EMI Records.

Users of the popular online music store are now able to access music from more than 15,000 album from EMI‘s catalog.

Music by Radiohead, Hot Chip, and the Beastie Boys, among a several others, has now become available to download.

The deal grants eMusic access to albums by the record label that are 12 months or older.

eMusic, which was one of the first sites to sell digital music, has now inked music deals with all the major labels.

Unlike iTunes, eMusic is a subscription service whereby users pay monthly subscription fees and in return get a set amount of downloads.

Liars have announced plans to release a live five-track live EP later this month.

The EP was recorded at the band’s May 27th gig at the titular London venue.

‘Live at Shepherds Bush Empire‘ is set for release exclusively on iTunes September 28.
