Third Man Records, Jack White’s label, have announced plans to open a pop-up shop at the weeklong SXSW festival taking place later this month.

The pop-up shops, which have appeared for a temporary time in Los Angeles, New York, and London, will make their way to Austin, Texas for only 4 days.

The temporary shop will open at the South By Southwest Music Conference from March 17th through March 20th and will be located at Frank Restaurant on 4th and Colorado.

The shop is set to feature exclusive Third Man vinyl, debut releases, food, drinks, and much more.

The pop-up shop will also offer several screenings of The White Stripes’ film ‘Under Great White Northern Lights‘ and will also sell complete Box Sets of film as well as the stand-alone components of the box set.

Jack White of all trades has done it again. His Third Man Records label recently released the music video for “What Can I Do”, The Black Belles’ debut single. Directed by Jack White and shot in black and white on location at Third Man Records Nashville, the video is a perfect introduction to this gritty, all-girl, garage rock group.

The 7” single for “What Can I Do”, along with a b-side cover of The Knickerbockers’ 60’s classic “Lies” is available for purchase at thirdmanrecords.com.

Dead Weather have announced dates for a forthcoming U.S. tour to coincide with the band’s slot at this year’s Coachella Festival.

Jack White and co. will kick off the jaunt on April 15 in San Francisco.

Among the dates announced is a slot at the Coachella festival in Indio, California on April 17 and at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2nd.

The band will also make stops in Las Vegas, Memphis, and Houston, among others.

Tickets for most dates are now available exclusively for subscribers to The Vault, Third Man Records’ (Jack White’s label) online subscription service.

The White Stripes have announced plans to release their film, ‘Under Great White Northern Lights‘, as a box set later next year.

The film, which chronicles the band’s 2007 Canadian tour, was premiered at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this year and is set for release March 16.

The limited edition box set is set to include the DVD of the film along with a second DVD of the White Stripes 10th anniversary show.

The set will also include a a 16-track live album which was recorded during the duo’s Canadian jaunt on both 180 gram vinyl and CD, along with a  live 7″ (featuring “Icky Thump” and “The Wheels on the Bus“), a 208-page book with photos from the tour by Autumn de Wilde, and a silk screen print.

Only the DVD, live album, and book will be sold separately.

Fans eager to get their hands on the box set can pre-order the box on the band’s website starting today (Friday 12/11).

Hurry! anyone who pre-orders the album before January 1 will get three live MP3s (”Hotel Yorba“, “Hello Operator“, and “A Martyr for My Love for You“) along with a holiday card.

The Dead Weather have released a new EP featuring live performances from the band’s recent show at the Third Man Records pop-up show in Los Angeles.

Live From Third Man West‘ features five tracks including a cover of Pentagram’s “Forever My Queen“.

The EP, which is now available on iTunes, also features four music videos.

Friday saw the music video premier of the Dead Weather’s latest single off their debut album, ‘Horehound‘.

The band premiered the music video for “I Cut Like A Buffalo“, which is due out as a single on October 26.

The music video was directed by Dead Weather man Jack White.

A U.K. premier is set for 10am GMT today (October 2) on the VidZone video application on Playstation 3 were it will only be available for 24 hrs.

The music video was shot entirely at the Third Man Records headquarters in Nashville, TN.

The track is off the bands debut album, ‘Horehound‘, out now via Third Man.

The Rolling StonesKeith Richards recently revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that he is currently working with White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather man Jack White.

Richards told the magazine that the two have been collaborating on a few track but didn’t go into further detail.

“I enjoy working with Jack…we’ve done a couple of tracks,” the guitarist revealed.

When asked if White could possibly produce the band’s next album Richards said, “I couldn’t fuel that rumour any more than to say Jack and I are in touch.”

Although Richards was tight lipped about any future plans with White he did reveal that his band, The Rolling Stones, would be hitting the studio early next year to record their next album.

The Dead Weather are set to play a free gig at the opening of Third Man Records Pop-Up shop in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 26.

The shop for the record label, which is owned by Jack White, will only be opened for three days and will sell exclusive merchandise from all of White’s music projects including the White Stripes and The Raconteurs.

The performance will take place at noon and will be on a first-come first-serve basis.

Fans who purchase the band’s debut album, ‘Horehound‘, at the shop will have their name entered into a drawing to win a grand grand prize tour of Third Man Records in Nashville, TN.

The drawing will take place the final day of the shops opening, August 28th, and entrants must be present to win.

Jack White’s latest side-project band, The Dead Weather, have announced dates for a forthcoming U.K. tour.

The band will kick off the jaunt on October 19 in Manchester and will play dates in Leeds, Birmingham and London.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (August 14) at 9am (BST).

The band are supporting their debut album ‘Horehound‘ on the jaunt.
