MoogfestThe line-up for this year’s forthcoming Moogfest festival has expanded.

A handful of new acts including DEVO, Disco Biscuits, and Van Dyke Parks are now set to take part in the three-day bash.

The festival is set to take place October 29 – 21 in Asheville, North Carolina.

The latest additions join previously announced acts including MGMT, Sigur RosJonsi, and Hot Chip.

Fun Fun Fest

The line-up for Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Festival has been unveiled.

MGMT, Dirty Projectors, and Deerhunter are among the acts taking place in the 5th annual event.

The three-day bash is set to take place at Waterloo Park in Austin, Texas from November 5-7.

Other acts also set to play the bash include Wavves, Hold Steady, Weird Al, and Devo.

Virgin FreefestPavement, M.I.A., and LCD Soundsystem are among the acts set to take part in the forthcoming Virgin Mobile FreeFest.

The one-day bash is set to take place September 25 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

Other acts taking part in the event include Yeasayer, Matt and Kim, Sleigh Bells, Neon Indian, Die Antwoord, and many more.

As the name implies the festival is free and open only to attendees of previous Virgin festivals who will get invites to apply for tickets in advance, reports The Baltimore Sun.

A limited amount of tickets for the pavilion will also reportedly go on sale for $125.

Cut CopyNew York’s Pool Parties series is back for 2010.

The series of concerts which is set to take place every Sunday from July 11 to August 29 at East River State Park on the Williamsburg waterfront will see performance by several great acts.

Among the initial line-up taking part in the event this year are Cut Copy, No Age, !!!, Delorean, and No Age.

The event will also include a joint performance by Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu who are set to perform Joy Divison’s ‘Unknown Pleasures‘ in full.

Electric ZooThe Chemical Brothers, Major Lazer, and LA Riots are among the acts taking part in New York’s Electric Zoo Festival.

The 2-day bash, taking place over Labor Day weekend (September 4 & 5) at Randall’s Island Park, will also include performances by Rusko, Pretty Lights, and Boys Noize.
