Dum Dum Girls are set to release their sophomore album, “Only In Dreams“, on September 27.

The band’s follow-up to their 2010 debut “I Will Be” is set to feature 10 tracks and will be released via Sub Pop records.

Coldplay are set to release the first single off their highly anticipated new album later this week.

The new single, entitled “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall“, is set to be released digitally on Friday June 3rd at noon (BST).

UK fans will get the digital release at the stroke of midnight between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June.

The new single will also stream on the band’s official website, Coldplay.com, starting Friday (6/3).

Modest Mouse played this past weekend’s Sasquatch! Music Festival in Seattle.

Among the tracks the band played during their set were two new tracks, presumably from the bands highly anticipated forthcoming album.

The band previewed tracks “Poison” and “Lampshades of Fire“, both of which you can stream below.

Modest Mouse are in the midst of recording the follow-up to 2007′s ‘We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank‘.

The band have teamed up with producer ATLien for the new album, which is slated for release later this year.

Arctic Monkeys stopped by ‘The Late Show with David Letterman‘ yesterday (May 26) to play a track off their forthcoming album, ‘Suck It And See‘.

The band played the first single off the new album, “Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair“, on the late night show.

Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder is set to release his latest solo album, ‘Ukulele Songs‘ later this month.

One track off the forthcoming album is a cover of “Tonight You Belong to Me” which Vedder teamed up with Cat Power to record.

Facebook users may soon be able to listen to Spotify directly on their Facebook profiles if rumors turn out to be true.

According to Forbes and several people close to the deal, Facebook has entered into a partnership with the digital music service to give users access to millions of songs directly on Facebook.

Users would be presented with a Spotify icon on their newsfeed, which when clicked would, automatically install the service on your desktop allowing you to stream millions of songs on the services catalog quickly and easily.

As you might imaging both Spotify and Facebook are not commenting on the rumors with a Spotify spokesperson claiming not to know anything about an impending music deal with Facebook.

Unfortunately for U.S. users, Forbes reports that the Spotify integration would only be available in countries where the service is available, which would rule out the U.S.

Spotify has been promising to bring the popular service to the states for quite some time but have run into problems trying to get any major labels to sign a deal.

Peter Bjorn and John have announced a massive forthcoming fall tour.

Dubbed the “All You Can Eat Tour“, the band are set to embark on their six week outing on August 24 in Chicago.

Among the dates announced are shows in Detroit, Toronto, New York, and Los Angels.

The forthcoming tour is in support of the band’s later studio album, ‘Gimme Some‘.

Arcade Fire have premiered two new tracks online.

The tracks, “Culture War” and “Speaking in Tongues“, are both set to be featured on the band’s forthcoming album ‘The Suburbs Deluxe Edition‘.

The deluxe version of the Arcade Fire‘s latest album is set for release June 27 and will feature the original album with extended versions of “Wasted Hours (A Life That We Can Live),” as well as the two previously unreleased tracks.

The forthcoming release is also set to include a DVD which features the short film ‘Scenes From The Suburbs‘, directed by Spike Jones, along with the documentary ‘Behind The Scenes From The Suburbs‘.
