The singer will play the late night show on Wednesday, August 11.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on ABC at 12:05 AM ET/PT.

Joanna Newsom has also announced plans to play Carnegie Hall later this year.

Newsom will play the famous New York venue on November 23.

Tickets go on sale Monday, August 9.

Arcade FireArcade Fire have announced plans to appear on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” later this year.

The band are set to play the late night satirical news show on August 12.

Arcade Fire are expected to play material from their forthcoming album, ‘The Suburbs‘, on the show.

The Suburbs‘, the band’s third-studio album, is set for release August 3.


Gorillaz made their headlining performance at this weekend’s Glastonbury Festival. Above watch the band play track, “Clint Eastwood” featuring Snoop Dogg.

The Strokes made their first festival appearance in over 3 years with a headline slot at the Isle of Wright festival in the U.K on Saturday (June 12).

ConanJack White and Conan O’Brien are planning something awesome.

In a tweet to his followers posted yesterday (June 9), O’Brien revealed that the White Stripes frontman and himself were planning “something cool”.

Although no other details were revealed, the post led people to a video which features White putting up a poster announced the performance, which is set to take place tonight (June 10) at 8pm.

O’Brien did offer people a hint as to what is set to go down tonight, “Hint: it involves a LOT of Tears for Fears songs.”

Chances are the two will be playing a few songs together, which is awesome.

The show or performance or whatever it is, will take place at Third Man Records in Nashville and is only for people 21 and over.

Also it is on a “1st come 1st serve” basis so if your in the area you better hurry and get your a** there.

Arcade Fire The SuburbsArcade Fire recently played a private show at the Notman House in Montreal where they previewed material from their forthcoming album, ‘The Suburbs‘.

The band reportedly played a 12-track set which featured 8 new songs.

The performance was said to be a warm-up gig for their forthcoming tour.

Among the tracks the band played were “The Suburbs” and “Month of May“.

Black KeysBlack Keys are set to release their latest album, ‘Brothers‘, on May 18 via Nonesuch Records.

Fans eager to hear the duo’s new album can head over to NPR now where the album is currently streaming in full.

In conjunction with the release of the new album, the band have announced plans to launch an exclusive pop-up store at New York City’s Housing Works Bookstore Cafe.

The pop-up store will be open from May 18 through May 20 with an in-store performance by the duo set for May 19.

100% of the money from the tickets for the gig will go to Housing Works, Inc., which provides housing, healthcare, job training, and advocacy for New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.

PhoenixPhoenix have announced details about a forthcoming performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles set for later this year.

The French band will play the the in support of their latest album, ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix‘, on September 18.

Supporting the band for he one-off performance will be Grizzly Bear and Girls.

The band are currently in the midst of a U.S. tour which continues tomorrow with a performance at Stubb’s in Austin, TX.

Last week the Gorillaz stopped by to perform on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report.

The band were joined by Bobby Womack and performed the track, ‘Stylo‘, off their latest album, ‘Plastic Beach‘.

Joanna Newsom stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday (March 5) to play a track off her latest album, ‘Have One On Me‘.

Newsom performed the track “Soft As Chalk” on the late night show.
