Simian Mobile Disco, No Age, and Lightspeed Champion are among the latest additions to the lineup for the forthcoming Field Day Festival.

The bash, which is set to take place in Victoria Park (London) on July 31st, will also see performances by These New Puritans, The Fall, and Tamikrest.

The latest additions join previously announced acts including Phoenix, Silver Apples, and Gold Panda.

Simian Mobile Disco have announced a slew of dates for a forthcoming tour of North America.

The duo are set to embark on the jaunt on October 28 and will play dates in several major cities including New York, Montreal, and Los Angeles.

The tour is in support of their forthcoming album, ‘Temporary Pleasure‘, due out September 15.

The ten-date jaunt is set to kick off October 28 in Boston and will run through November 28.

Among the dates announced are shows in New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Los Angeles.

The tour is in support of the band’s latest LP, ‘Temporary Pleasures‘, released today (August 17) in the UK and due out September 15 in the U.S.

The album, and follow-up to their 2007 debut ‘Attack Decay Sustain Release‘, is set for release August 17 (UK only).

As we previously reported, the new album will feature several guest including the Gossip’s Beth Ditto, Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, Super Furry AnimalsGruff Rhys, and Jamie Lidell.

The duo have released the video for ‘Audacity Of Huge‘, which features Yeasayer’s Chris Keating.

The music video was directed by Kate Moross.

Temporary Pleasure‘ is due out August 18 via Wichita Records.

Simian Mobile Disco, Crystal Method, and Shiny Toy Guns are among the lineup for Los Angeles’ forthcoming Electric Daisy Carnival.

The two-day event, which is set to to take place June 26 and 27 at the Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park in Los Angeles, will also see performances by Thievery Corporation, and Diplo.

More acts are expected to be announced for the festival.

The lenghty jaunt will kick off May 15 in Philadelphia, PA.

The tour is in support of her latest album ‘I Feel Cream‘ due out May 5.

As we previously reported, the forthcoming album features collaborations with Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism and Canuck Gonzales.

Foals, The Streets, Ladyhawke, and Florence and the Machine are the latest additions to the line-up for Scotland’s T In The Park festival.

The three-day event, which is set to take place July 10-12, will also see performances by previously announced acts Fraz Ferdinand, Lily Allen, and Simian Mobile Disco.

The Killers, Kings of Leon, and Blur are set to headline this year’s festival.
