The singer is expected to announce a U.S. tour in support of the album in the coming weeks.

The single, entitled ‘11th Dimension’, has been posted online at the singer’s Myspace page at Myspace.com/juliancasablancas.
The single is due out November 2 and will be followed by the debut solo album due out October 19.
Casablancas is soon set to announce North American solo tour dates in support of the forthcoming album.

Selway is currently working on the album in the Radiohead’s Oxfordshire studio.
The drummer, who will sing on the album, has recruited Wilco members Glenn Kotche and Pat Sansone as well as solo artist Lisa Germano and bass player Sebastian Steinberg to collaborate on the album.
No release date has been announced for the as-yet-untitled album.

Hughes revealed to BBC 6music that he is in the midst of working on the solo album which he has named ‘Boots Electric Fabulous Weapon‘.
When talking about who he hopes will produce the album, Hughes said, “I’m trying to work with Dr. Dre and my dream job of all time would be to work with Andre 3000, but I’ll probably end up working with someone at K Mart.”
No word on when the debut album will be released.

The Strokes‘ frontman is set to release his solo LP, ‘Phrazes for the Young‘, sometime this fall.
As previously reported Casablancas is slated to play a few U.S shows to support the debut album later this year.
The singer made his first solo live debut this past weekend in Tokyo.

The singer wrote the track for the forthcoming documentary ‘It Might Get Loud‘ which stars White, Jimmy Page, and U2’s The Edge.
The track, titled ‘Fly Farm Blues‘, is due out August 11 in both a digital version (via iTunes) and as a 7-inch single.
White’s own label, Third Man Records, will release the 7-inch.
‘It Might Get Loud‘ is due out in theaters later this month.

The frontman is set release ‘Phrazes for the Young, Casablancas‘ through his own label Cult Records.
The eight-song album was recorded with producer Jason Lader and Mike Mogis over the past year.
Casablancas is slated to play a few U.S shows to support the debut album later this year.
